Like I mentioned yesterday, Chris and Kelly’s wedding was one of the best! If you didn’t see the photos from earlier click here. We were delighted to continue shooting photos at the beautiful park Chris and Kelly picked out and then headed to the church for their ceremony, followed by their reception at the Westin. It was there we heard stories again of how Chris and Kelly had not one, not two, but three first dates. We heard about Kelly and her sister wanting to straighten their hair and using an iron to do it. We learned that penguins are a big part of Chris and Kelly. While it started with Chris liking penguins and having penguins in his Christmas tree, on the bed, books about penguins; now they both enjoy this little part that makes their relationship unique. So it was quite fitting to have penguins on their wedding cake. Finally, Chris and Kelly’s dance floor was filled from the moment it opened up to the moment we left. Take a look and I think you’ll agree that Chris and Kelly had an amazing day!

There was something about Chris and Kelly’s wedding that just made it feel like they were really good friends that we got to photograph. Perhaps it was that Kelly reminded me so much of one of my best friends. Whatever it was, Chris and Kelly’s weddings was one of our favorites this year. In fact, it was such a great wedding that we’re taking two days to share it. So make sure to come back tomorrow to see part 2.
Mike and Jessica were married this past Saturday-what a photographer’s dream their wedding was! They were married at the Little Log House Pioneer Village in Hastings, MN. Whoa! We could have photographed them for a couple more days and still found new places to take photos. I’m so looking forward to getting to the rest of these photos, but for now, enjoy this sneak peak!
It was a busy weekend for weddings and to kick this week off, we have sneak peak of Chris and Paige’s elegant, sweet at sunset wedding. Enjoy!
For a couple of weeks now, we’ve been working hard on getting Little Ones up and running. We’re so excited to introduce Little Ones. It’s a portrait party, much like the cooking parties, cleaning parties, purse parties, you get the picture, right!?
