Kate’s senior session took place on a beautiful summery day. It was quite the contrast to the shots she did with her cross-country skis! Yes, Kate is an avid skier and member of her school’s ski team. She loves the winter months so much that she said she’ll definitely be going to college somewhere where they have lots of snow and winter! Kate’s also involved in cross-country running, track, and is an editor of her high school yearbook. I know there are also a few more things she’s involved in that I’m now missing. Hope your senior year is one of the best yet, Kate!

Britney is one talented, athletic, and smart girl! She’s involved in volleyball, basketball, and track-and award winners in everything. She’s already got her college plans and is heading to Bradley University next year on a basketball scholarship-way to go, Britney! She’s thinking about going into elementary education-and of course, I think that’s great!
Luke and Lizzie’s engagement session was filled with laughter, sweet glances, and even a snapping turtle (yikes! Paul just about stepped on it thinking it was a rock while getting some shots in the water! It certainly added a few more laughs, that is for sure!) Luke and Lizzie will be getting married this February amidst the cold, and hopefully pretty snow!
Steve and Patty’s Minneapolis Golf Club wedding was a beautiful day-sunny, warm, and filled with laughter of family and friends. After their ceremony, Steve and Patty took some time to take a few photos while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. We absolutely love the time we get to spend with a bride and groom shortly after their ceremony; Patty and Steve were no exception. Steve is hopelessly in love with Patty and she just glows when she’s around him. Together they created some beautiful photos!
Onto the reception, Steve and Patty shared one of the most unique dollar dances we’ve ever seen. It’s awesome when families have traditions they keep passing down with each wedding. With Patty’s family, it’s to play polka music while their family and friends come to dance. However, instead of just paying typically the maid of honor and best man their dollar, their guests came prepared! They had multiple dollars and upon dancing with Patty or Steve had to throw the money in the air! The kids loved it and were scrambling on the floor collecting all the money. This went on for a good 45 minutes and was non-stop fun for everyone! Loved it!
Patty and Steve’s wedding was held at the sophisticated Minneapolis Golf Club. The setting was beautiful, but it was Patty and Steve who really stole the show. Patty in her stunning Justin Alexander wedding gown and killer heels looked amazing. When Steve got his first look at Patty walking down the aisle, there were definitely some misty eyes. He lights us when she’s around. Her vivacious personality is just contagious to those around her. She feels so lucky to have Steve and vice versa. Their wedding was definitely one to remember not just for them, but for their big families, many friends, and us-their photographers. Enjoy this first part of Patty and Steve’s wedding!
